Case studies
Anonymised by sector. 0 engagements documented for Malaysia. For procurement reference checks we can introduce you privately to peer clients who have agreed to speak.
Engagement profiles documented in this section
Each case study below documents an anonymised Maxicom engagement in Malaysia. The format is consistent across the section: sector, sites covered, asset count and mix, engagement duration, sanitisation method cited to standard, Reuse-First reuse rate, settlement in MYR against PO. Customer identifying details are anonymised throughout; specifics are shareable on a procurement reference call where the customer has agreed to speak. The current cohort spans the recurring BFSI, government, healthcare, data-centre, manufacturing, and AI startup engagement profiles that make up the bulk of our Malaysia pipeline. Engagement scenarios within each profile reflect 2024–2025 activity.
How to read the case studies
Each case study answers six questions consistently. What was retired? Asset class, OEM mix, count, condition. How was it retired? Sanitisation method (NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 1 / IEEE 2883-2022 / DoD 5220.22-M), witness destruction status, particle size where physical destruction applied. Why this engagement was complex? Multi-site coordination, classification mix, lessor cut-off pressure, regulator examination context. What was the Reuse-First reuse rate? Percentage of retired tonnage refurbished and routed back to channel, vs destroyed-by-classification or destroyed-by-condition. What did the customer recover in MYR? Total residual value vs the destruction-first comparator is meaningfully higher under Reuse-First refurb economics — sized to the inventory makeup and channel timing. What documentation flowed? Per-asset Certificate of Destruction, ESG metrics report, regulator-facing audit trail.
Why these are anonymised
NDA is standard from first scoping call. Public case studies are anonymised by sector to preserve customer confidentiality while still demonstrating engagement profile and outcome. Public references happen only with the customer's explicit written consent — and even then, we typically protect the customer name and route reference checks privately rather than publishing logos. Procurement teams looking for a peer reference can request a private introduction to a customer in their sector who has agreed to speak; the introduction is one-to-one and not channelled through Maxicom's marketing function. NDA-protected engagement records are retained for 7+ years against regulator examination cycles.
How to request a private peer reference
Send a request via the contact form naming your sector (BFSI, government, healthcare, data centre, manufacturing, AI, etc.) and the engagement profile you want a reference for (refresh cycle, branch closure, M&A divestiture, hyperscale tenant exit, etc.). We coordinate with peer customers in your sector who have agreed to participate in reference calls; the introduction is one-to-one, scheduled at the peer customer's convenience, and not visible to Maxicom marketing. Most reference calls run 30 minutes covering engagement experience, Maxicom's engagement record, audit-trail quality, settlement reliability. Peer references are the most reliable signal on a disposition vendor; we encourage them.

Frequently asked questions
Why aren't Maxicom's customers named publicly?
NDA is standard. Public naming requires explicit written customer consent and is rare in this industry. We protect the customer name and route reference calls privately rather than publishing logos.
Can I get a peer reference in my specific sector?
Yes. Send a request via the contact form; we coordinate with peer customers in your sector who have agreed to participate. Reference calls are one-to-one and scheduled at the peer's convenience.
How are these case studies kept current?
Engagement scenarios are updated annually to reflect the most recent representative engagements per sector. The compliance desk reviews case-study content quarterly to ensure anonymisation discipline holds.
What if my situation doesn't match any case study here?
The case studies are representative, not exhaustive. Most engagement profiles we have served don't appear here because the customer hasn't agreed to public documentation, even anonymised. Send your engagement profile via contact and we'll discuss whether we have similar engagement experience.
Will Maxicom name us if we engage?
No, unless you explicitly request it in writing. Standard contracts include NDA. For procurement-team reference checks, we route privately.
